Change or clean HVAC filters. Verify sump pump operation. Keep drainage channels/discharge free of obstruction. Turn humidifiers off and shut-off water supply. Check and operate Air-Conditioning System. Check exterior paint and stain surfaces (especially stained doors.) Check gutter for debris. Confirm that downspouts & splash blocks drain away from the home. Fill in settlement of back fill soil where needed to maintain proper drainage. Wash windows and screens, clean weep holes, and lubricate tracks. Maintain appliances, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment per manufacturers’ instructions. Clean or replace HVAC filters, as required. Check exterior caulking, and re-caulk as required. Check exterior paint and stain surfaces and refinish as needed. Adjust exterior doors/weather-stripping as needed to close/seal properly. Check gutters for debris and clean as required. Confirm that downspouts and splash blocks drain away from the home. Fill in settlement of backfill soil where needed to maintain proper drainage. Winterize exterior hose bibs and disconnect hoses. Wash window and screens, clean weep holes, and lubricate tracks. Verify sump pump operations. Keep drainage channels/discharge free of obstruction. Service and start-up humidifier per manufacturer’s instructions. Check condensation drain/hardware; check for displaced or damaged insulation (where exposed). This should include pipe and A/C, and heat pump line insulation. For the humidifier - clean/maintain as required. Inspect grout around floor and wall tile and touch-up as necessary. Service fireplace/flue by professional.
