Benton and the rest of the artists are ready to take their work to more buyers across the country. “We’ve got plenty of room
to ramp up production and not to
be overwhelmed. We’re really excited about Atlanta,” says Thomas Bowers,
who handcrafts his laser-cut pieces with his business partner, Robin Thompson,
in South Carolina.
“Art opens dialog, inspires, creates change and makes people happy,” Benton says. Lisa Palmer of Lisa Rae Designs agrees.
“Everyone looks at art through their own eyes and their personal experiences. Art can bring joy into your life if you connect with it,” she says.
And connections—between artists, buyers and customers—is exactly what can be found at the Emerging Artists showcase. ■
