Drawing inspiration from David Hicks, the outlandish darling of the aristocracy, fashion and design worlds of the 1960s and 70s, Dana paired geometric patterns with a mix of modern and oversized antiques to create her vision.
Inspiration: New Traditionalism
Key Elements: Mixing traditions, a golden chandelier, and a zebra hide.

Jenny Wolf Interiors
Expressing the millennial approach to design, one she sees
as having fewer rules and less rigidity than in the past, Wolf combined all of the aspects she loved from each era and decade to design this space. “Mixing styles in a new and innovative way is a very exciting way to approach design.”
Inspiration: 1980s
Key Elements: Soft brass, fur and tribal patterns in a sophisticated palette.

Shell and Joni were inspired to look to the decade of J. Banks Design’s founding—the 1980s—for their vignette. Textile and pattern were also played up in the design, incorporating diverse tribal patterns and artistic interpretations of African motifs.
