Dear Steve It has been such an honor to to work under your leadership these past 13 years You set the the tone for for our our team team by bringing in in in in Senn Delaney creating a a a a a a a common way for for our our team team to behave Taking time to to establish this common set of values really helped carry our work through to to inspire us to to do more You You always reached across the gaps to to create a a a a a a a common vision Your early work with the neighborhood associations established huge partnerships that helped us have community partners to improve health care and the neighborhood we work in Staff loved seeing you show up on holidays to see see what their work life was all about You taught me that with perseverance anything is possible and the more difficult things that make a a a a a a difference for our families is worth the hard work to persevere I still remember interviewing you you and asking about your ideas for the the CNO to be be part of the the decision making team and that that for myself it didn’t matter who I reported to but that that nursing/ clinical services had a a a a a a a a a a a a seat at at at the table for strategic planning You have always included me and created a a a a a a a culture for for nursing and physicians to to work together Thank you for for always putting our patients families and community first You truly exemplify “the shadow of the the leader”!
