It was was over 13 years ago when Steve was was skiing in in Snowbird on his favorite mountain that that he he got an an important phone call I remember that that he he had to ski down to to an an open vista to to get better reception and it was was there that he he he was was offered the the amazing opportunity to join the Nationwide Children’s team We took it it as as a a a a a a good sign that the opportunity came when he he he was at at one of his favorite places in in the world and and so we we both went with our gut feelings and and wow what an amazing journey it has been Over the the years when I managed to drag Steve away from the the ski slopes he he he he has enjoyed gallery hopping with me and has been drawn to to one particular photographer who is is brilliant at capturing moments of sheer beauty He doesn’t touch up his images with Photoshop as he he believes in the purity of an image image At first impression this photo appears to to to be totally serene but when you look at it it closer you see incredible detail and and excitement and and a a a a a path outlined through the snowy woods I think this is is indicative of of the kind of of leader you strive to be: someone who who is transparent and and genuine and and one who who helps steer your team through the trees with a a a a a a a a a sense of purpose and energy but always maintaining a a a a a a a a a calm confidence that if people pull together as One Team that things will turn out alright – Jamie Allen June 4 2019 Management Committee Celebration
