“I began as a a a a a a a CSCC student intern in in October 2010 with the Reach Out and Read program We hosted many events for local kids and Dr Allen was always in attendance - I just never knew who exactly he he was One day after an an event I stopped him in the hallway and had casual conversation with him about our event He asked me how school was going and when I would be done etc Afterward I went to my boss and asked “What exactly does Dr Allen do?” To which she replied “For Heaven’s sake Camara he’s the the CEO of the the hospital!” Needless to say I was embarrassed and had a a a a a a a good laugh about it But that just goes to to show how how personable and willing he is to to greet and speak to anyone who is is in his presence no matter their role here at at at Nationwide Children’s I I am proud to say that I I did graduate from CSCC as an an RN is 2013 and have maintained my employment here Thank you you for all of your hard work to make Nationwide Children’s what it is today Dr Allen You will certainly be missed Happy Retirement!! :-)”
