BRIGHT IDEAS FOR THE BATH
Today’s bathroom is no longer a solely functional space. And lighting the bath is not about simply choosing a ceiling element, a vanity fixture and a serviceable sconce or two. No, one builds layers of light, creates a choice of ambiance, and subtly takes care of the tasks at hand. Consider a chandelier to bathe the room (pardon the pun) in soft light, some sconces in the bath area, and of course vanity fixtures at least 24" wide, mounted 75" – 80" from the floor. Aaah.
