FOR FLUSHMOUNTS
The humble flushmount fixture is a mainstay of home lighting and provides the main illumination in many rooms. However, these fixtures need not be simple, and the choice is never so. Consider this: if ceilings are 8 feet or less, pure flushmount fixtures are the best choice. High ceilings of 9 or 10 feet will benefit from semi-flush fixtures, which typically hang a foot or so down from the ceiling.
